Reed, whose investments were handled by Helvey; newspaper clippings (1909-1963); and reel-to-reel audio tapes and transcripts of interviews conducted by Helvey (1952-1963).

Robert T. Helvey (1888-1964), a rancher, came to Bighorn, Wyoming in 1909. He managed the Wyoming Securities Company's ranch holdings from 1922-1944. After Helvey left the Wyoming Securities Company, he returned to ranching and private investing.
